ABOUT US

Commitment
Borup Construction is successful because we are "a family business serving families." We care about the homes we build and about this community. We try to build every house with the same quality and workmanship that we would want in our own homes. Our one-year homeowner"s warranty shows that we stand behind the homes that we build. We are here now to serve you and we will be here in the future.
Communication
Interaction is the key to customer satisfaction. Extensive review of the plans in the design stage, and a thorough pre-construction meeting helps ensure that everything is right and that all questions are answered. Once construction starts, cell phones help us keep in contact with those involved in the building process. And, if questions arise, the builder can immediately contact the home buyer and take care of things without delay. By listening to your needs and desires, and keeping you informed, we make the experience of building a home more satisfying. Borup Construction is committed to building your home exactly as you planned and envisioned it.
Community Involvement
Keith and Dean raised their own families in this area, enjoyed the cultural events and the recreational opportunities, and benefited from the public schools. Keith is currently serving as a planning and zoning Commissioner for the city of Meridian. He is also on the Ada Planning Associations Citizen’s Advisory Committee (Chairman in 1997). He is a Life Director for the Building Contractor's Association, and served as President in 1988. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Ore-Ida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and has been an active Boy Scout leader and supporter for over 20 years.
Experience
A home is the largest single investment you will make in a lifetime. Keith Borup is a registered Master Builder who has been building homes since 1973 and has built over 731 homes in the Boise Valley. He and his partners, Dean Borup and Luis Rivera, have a combined experience in the business of 59 years. They know what works and what doesn't. You’ll benefit from that experience when you buy a Borup Construction home. For Keith, Dean, and Luis, building homes is not just a job it’s a profession.
Organization
Since building a home is such a complicated process, it takes good management skills to keep everything moving on schedule. Over the years we have developed processes and methods to help in the construction of your home. We utilize the latest technology in computer-aided design. This saves time in customizing your home plans, and allows you to visualize what your new home will look like.
We Make It Easy
Building a home is complicated; coordinating subcontractors, obtaining permits, following local codes and ordinances, selecting materials and components. Borup Construction believes that building a new home should be fun and enjoyable. From the first pre-construction planning meeting to the final walk through, we work hard to make the process as easy for you as possible.
Stability
Keith and Dean Borup have lived in the Boise Valley since 1957. It is a wonderful area to establish a home and raise a family. Borup Construction has been in business continually through the ups and downs of the construction industry over the past 28 years, and they are committed to building in this valley. The fact that they have invested in owning their own office building attests that they are here to stay.
Team Approach
Our suppliers and subcontractors are selected for their quality and reliability, not because they have the lowest bid. We develop long term relationships with our subcontractors. We have been working with some of them since 1973. They know that if their quality and follow through are consistent, they will be working on our next job. From the framing crew to the final trim, our team of professional subcontractors is committed to doing the job right.
